SG 100 Women in Tech 2021
The Singapore 100 Women In Tech organized by IMDA and Singapore Computer Society, and recognizes women based in Singapore who have been inspiring and have made significant contributions to the tech industry. These women are the leaders and experts in their fields who are challenging the status quo and making big strides to change the world we live in. The award seeks to highlight the rich diversity of roles and spotlight the role models in Singapore’s dynamic Tech sector. It aims to inspire women and girls to pursue their passion in tech.
We are proud to share that our co-founder and CEO, Charis Liau has been featured in this year’s list.
Connecting People to Opportunities with our digital financial ecosystem
Spearheading Minterest with the vision of building a digital financial ecosystem where everyday people can connect to opportunities affordably and quickly, Charis has been committed to building a future in finance that focuses on inclusion. With the belief that the true power of the modern digital economy can only be unlocked when value can flow unrestricted around the globe – be it from corporates or individuals, Charis believes in giving opportunities to access modern types of investments and monetary transfers in the process.
A few words from the team
It is gratifying for us, the team at Minterest, to see how our CEO’s passion for the future of finance continues to challenge the norm and lead us into new frontiers for Minterest in a male-dominated industry – both tech and finance. As a leader and a mother of two children, Charis never fails to rally moral support, to foster inclusivity and render kindness in her leadership.
This nomination is more than a title for us as a team, it shows the public recognition of her achievements which we see on a day to day basis. As we end off this year with this piece of good news, we are definitely looking forward to what 2022 has in store for us.
Congratulations to all the inspiring awardees, and we hope to hear more stories of women and girls achieving success in Tech and in our shared future.
